This Privacy Policy explains how GR Technology Pvt. Ltd. ("PrintNiq", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the PrintNiq platform, as a customer or as a Merchant.

1. Information we collect

Account information: name, phone number, email address, and (for Merchants) shop name, address, and printer/device details.
Order content: files you upload for printing, order details (item, quantity, price), and delivery/pickup preferences.
Payment information: handled directly by our payment gateway (Razorpay). We receive confirmation of payment status and a transaction reference, not your full card or bank account details.
Usage data: device/browser information, IP address, and basic analytics about how the Platform is used, collected automatically.
Communications: messages you send us via WhatsApp or other support channels.

2. How we use this information

To route and fulfil your print or service orders, including sending your uploaded files to the Merchant you selected.
To process payments and prevent fraud.
To operate accounts, provide customer support, and send order-related notifications.
To improve the Platform, understand usage patterns, and maintain security (including the rate-limiting and abuse-prevention measures described in our security practices).
To comply with legal obligations, including responding to lawful requests from authorities.

3. Uploaded files

Files you upload for printing are shared only with the Merchant you selected, for the purpose of fulfilling your order. We retain uploaded files only as long as needed to complete and support the order, and Merchants are contractually expected to delete files after fulfilment. Please avoid uploading files containing sensitive personal data (like financial account numbers or ID document originals) unless printing them is the actual purpose of your order.

4. Who we share data with

Merchants — order and file data needed to fulfil your specific order.
Payment gateways (currently Razorpay) — to process payments securely.
Hosting and infrastructure providers — to run the Platform.
Authorities — where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PrintNiq, our users, or the public.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for session management (keeping you logged in), remembering preferences, and basic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect parts of the Platform, such as staying logged in.

6. Data retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active, and order records for as long as needed for accounting, legal, and dispute-resolution purposes. Uploaded print files are retained for a shorter period tied to order fulfilment, as described in Section 3.

7. Data security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to production systems, and rate limiting on public endpoints to reduce abuse. No system is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, subject to our legitimate need to retain certain records (e.g. for completed transactions or legal compliance). To make a request, contact us via our Contact page.

9. Children's privacy

The Platform is not directed at children under 18. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children; if you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can remove it.
